Compliance Dashboard: How It Works

The Hangar Direct compliance dashboard gives airport managers and FBO operators real-time visibility into every tenant's insurance, document, and lease status from a single screen. Instead of digging through spreadsheets and email chains, you get a color-coded, filterable view of your entire operation that is always up to date.

1 - What the Dashboard Tracks

The compliance dashboard monitors every document and status you need to keep your operation compliant:

  • Insurance certificates: Tracks policy status, expiration dates, coverage types, and whether the airport is named as additional insured.
  • Airworthiness documents: Monitors aircraft registration, annual inspection status, and any required certifications.
  • Lease status: Shows active lease terms, time remaining, and upcoming renewals or expirations.

2 - Color-Coded Status at a Glance

Every tenant and document is assigned a clear status indicator so you can spot issues instantly without opening individual records:

  • Valid: Document is current and meets requirements.
  • Expiring soon: Document will expire within 30 days. The system has already sent the tenant a reminder.
  • Expired: Document has lapsed. The tenant has been notified and the record is flagged for your review.
  • Missing: A required document has not been uploaded.

You can filter the dashboard by any of these statuses to quickly see, for example, all tenants with expired insurance or all documents expiring in the next 30 days.

3 - Filtering and Sorting

The dashboard supports multiple ways to find what you need:

  • Filter by compliance status (valid, expiring, expired, missing).
  • Sort by days overdue to prioritize the most urgent gaps.
  • Filter by tenant name, hangar location, or document type.
  • View all tenants at a specific location if you manage multiple airports or FBOs.

4 - Sending Reminders from the Dashboard
